“The names w-w-William,” the man stammered out. He had to be at least 25, however his presence had the young, uncomfortable energy of a boy. He was wearing a cloak made in a vibrant color you didn’t see around these parts. Upon further inspection, you notice it is clearly the finery of the wealthy. Someone trips. In response, the manchild laughs loudly. You feel a bit of disdain flow through your veins. As you turn away he spots you. “Boy! You look like the adventuring type! There are some mischievous fairies out in the fields. They’ve stolen my favorite pocket watch. For this reason, I would pay a hefty sum to whoever returns it.”
“Do you know who my father is,” the young boy demanded at the server who had dropped a plate. the woman meekly nodded before glancing at you. As if anyone could forget who fathered Jordan Gussen. The young blond boy, 8 years old, held no respect for those who serve. As his attention lands back on you. “Pirates have been seen in port, and my father would be very appreciative if you could end them. They are making trouble for our imports from Bosque.”
